TAXIS For 1, 2 or 3 people we can send a safe, reliable taxi to your hotel in Quito to the Lodge for $50-$55 each way. Taxi airport pickups cost $55.00 minimum. TOYOTA VAN Don Bayardo, a retired air force officer, can also pick you up in his new Toyota minivan. Comfortable, with large windows and plenty of room, don Bayardo makes the two hour drive very pleasurable! For two people it costs $55.00 total each way (add $5.00 for airport pickups!). For 3 or more people the cost is $20.00 per person each way, with group discounts available. TOURING THE AREA Taxi Tours to the lakes and villages cost $10.00-$12.00 for 2 or 3 people.
